LOVE STORIES....

Every LOVE story is absolutely TRUE & REAL to the parties involved. Some LOVES last a lifetime, while others may be brief passing encounters, that fill are hearts so, that we can never, ever, really let go. Some LOVES may be unrequited, ugh, what's worse then loving someone so much & he barely even knows your alive. Nothing. Some LOVES have been known to start wars. Empires have fallen over this crazy lil thing called LOVE. Other LOVES have inspired some of the sweetest songs we have ever known. Oceans apart, distance can't even seem to shake real LOVE. Many wait their whole lives for that one true! All I can say is, if your lucky enough to find him/her make sure you let em know, hold on tight & never let go!
Every love story has a few bumps in the road, some trials & tribulations. Some LOVES end tragically, some are filled with hardships & some LOVES are just all out crazy adventures. No one & nothing can take the LOVE that stood or the LOVE that stands away. Impossible to define, outline, draw the line, sometimes LOVE is the only thing keeping us alive!

SNEAK PEEK!!!

I'm starting a NEW feature on the BLOG called "SNEAK PEEK" dedicated to my low-key secret obsession...I AM A SNEAKER FREAK!!!! It all started back in jr high with my first Airmax (the girl purple & gray 95's)!! When I'm in the studio or in the streets you can usually find me rocking sneakers!! Chucks, Cortez, Dunks, Jordans, I loooooove em all! These "Lace Air Jordan 1s" came out last August and I just love them so much I barely even wear them!! God forbid the get scuffed OR stepped on !! ;) They are hard to find so go online!

PUT ME UP ON YOUR FAVORITE SNEAKS OF ALL TIME???

BOOK CLUB!!

Me and my homegirls are always puttin each other up on the books! A few weeks ago we were discussing one of are fav authors on Twitter(www.twitter.com/westsidegyrl) & I noticed so many of you responded & chimmed in! We all got to thinking, there are some pretty amazing books out there that we ALL really relate to & want to share with each other & you!
We are still mapping out all the details of the book club but we do know we will be meeting once a month & Ustreaming our discussion! Everyone is invited to come hang out wit us, either at my house or on Ustream!

The first book we picked is my most favorite book of all time! I re-read it once a year and it really helps me stay focused & on track!

The Alchemist by Paulo Cuelho is a simple sweet story about FOLLOWING YOUR DREAMS! Clearly you know just how REAL that concept has been to me! The story reminds us all to really listen to our hearts & pay attention to the signs & gifts that come into our lifes! This book is really that special! I will be giving away 2 copies & really hope the rest of you run out & grab a copy asap!!
