I think it should be very chic. But still kinda "hood". Or maybe January should be like "'20's", February, "30's", March "40's", etc. I think you should do something unexpected!! Shed some different light. Regardless what you choose, I'm sure it'll be bomb.

lala i think you should rock a cute & sexy, gangsta/pachuca look, you know, to rep for us ladies who got style. id picture you rocking your hoops and some locs next to all those beautiful different chicano murals around LA. or i think you'd look super fly in some traditional latina costumes, you know white ruffled blouses and some red flowers in your hair. but whatever you do, i know it will be fly! peace & love!

I know this has nothing to do with your question(but to answer that, I think you should do pictures showing where you grew up, you know, favorite stores, favorite restaurants,parks, that kinda stuff, showing us where you come from=-) BUT...I sent this to you in a message on myspace and want to make sure you read it!=-) so........hey LaLa!!!! well i dont even know where to begin. I guess I want to say that I have been following your music for a while now and I am so proud of how far you have come so far! I know that sounds kinda cheesy but I remember when i first found your page you just had "sprung on a thug" and not that many subscribers. but just hearing that song i instantly fell in love with your music and message. Your music has gotten me through so many tough times! and your mix tape, girl i blast it over and over when i make the 4 and a half hour drive to go see my family. I currently live in Corpus Christi texas, and i remember when you came to do the radio show. I rushed out of class to catch the end of it and i was so excited i couldnt believe you were here! i caught like the last two minutes! but i was so excited. i wish you could come back and do a show here!!!! anyways the reason i am writing is because Im going to be graduating from College here in December, God willing and really without your music I would have never made it through! i had some tough times with a thug too but I never let anyone get me down or hold me back( ....dont worry hold your head up high...=-)) and in just over three months i'll be done! well... if i could ask ide want you to come of course! lol. but i know thats not possible so IF maybe if you could I would really love a personal autograph picture from you as a graduation present. I hope its not too much to ask but your music has really impacted me in a positive way...from sad girl, to sprung on a thug, to somethin about you, to smile now cry later, to faithfully (especially that one!), to missin you, to fairtale over....i could go on and on! your jams helped me study, helped me smile, helped me keep the faith and my head up high and since i know i cant meet you now... Lala...to be honest, I think you should stick to ur "Lowrider Latina" style on this one. Its what best represents you and what people have come to recognize you by. Being a calendar and all, it would be nice to feature lowriders while sticking to themes like holidays and seasons. For example: picture this...for May..which we all know its Cinco de Mayo month...wear like a sexy mexican dress but try posing with a car that will go with the theme..and like 4 summer..try going 4 a top dropped low low and wear a bikini (just not trashy) ..but make sure the backround fits 2 your theme as well as your make up and hair do.

I think each pic should tie in with the month, at least in the little details if nothing too obvious. Like the November has GOT to have some little Dia de Las Muertos touches, like you could pretend to be taking a bite of a sugar skull or something! Lots of reds and pinks for February. Mayo has got to have a Cinco theme, like you could be in a parade! Maybe for July's issue you could be in like Malibu and the papparazzi could be all taking pics of you on the beach! I know you'll be creatve, you always are!!
